## How it works

1. **Markets** — Anyone can create a prediction market by depositing USDm as collateral. The creator sets the question, outcome options, and resolution criteria.
2. **Trading** — Users buy YES or NO shares using USDm. Pricing uses LMSR (Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule) with b=200, ensuring always-available liquidity and accurate probability discovery.
3. **Order book** — A P2P order book allows limit orders for direct peer-to-peer trades alongside the AMM.
4. **Resolution** — When a market resolves, winning shares redeem at exactly 1 USDm. Losing shares are worth 0.
5. **Fees** — 2.5% total fee per trade: 1% to market creator, 1% to evently treasury, 0.5% to market resolver.

Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule (LMSR) is an automated market maker algorithm designed for prediction markets. With b=200 USDm, it guarantees liquidity at all times and prices shares as accurate probability estimates between 0 and 1 USDm.

**Is evently audited?**
Yes. evently V3 smart contracts have been reviewed by multiple AI security tools (7 audits). A professional audit (Pashov/CertiK) is pending for mainnet V3 launch.

**What are ERC-1155 positions?**
Each outcome in each market is an ERC-1155 token. You can hold, transfer, or trade your position shares like any other onchain asset.

**How does resolution work?**
A designated resolver closes the market and selects the winning outcome. Winning shares redeem at exactly 1 USDm each. The resolver earns 0.5% of total trading volume as incentive.
